Boom Operator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boom Operator to join our dynamic team. The Boom Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio equipment, specifically boom microphones, to capture high-quality audio for various internal and external communication projects within our BPO environment. This role requires a keen ear for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, test, and operate boom microphones and associated audio equipment.
- Position boom microphones effectively to capture clear dialogue and ambient sound during recordings or live sessions.
- Monitor audio levels and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal sound quality.
- Collaborate with recording engineers, producers, and other team members to achieve desired audio outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with audio equipment.
- Maintain and perform routine checks on boom poles, microphones, windscreens, and other audio gear.
- Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace for audio operations.
- Stay updated with the latest audio technology and techniques.
