Bosun

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bosun to oversee and manage the operations of our warehouse and logistics within the medical devices and equipment sector. The Bosun will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling, storage, and dispatch of medical supplies, adhering to all regulatory and quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock audits.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling, storage, and dispatch.
- Train and mentor new warehouse personnel.
- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment.
- Liaise with procurement and sales departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly those pertaining to medical devices.
- Report on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
