Bosun

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bosun to join our dynamic gaming startup. The Bosun will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our gaming infrastructure, ensuring smooth gameplay for our users. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for operational excellence within a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the gaming servers and related infrastructure.
* Monitor game performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal player experience.
* Coordinate with development and QA teams to deploy updates, patches, and new features.
* Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery procedures.
* Ensure the security and integrity of all gaming data and user accounts.
* Manage inventory of gaming hardware and software, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.
* Develop and document operational procedures and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to game servers, networking, and client applications.
* Assist in the planning and execution of live events and tournaments.
* Maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders, including management, development teams, and customer support.
