Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Broadcast Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical operations of our broadcast facilities, ensuring high-quality audio and video content delivery for our educational programs. This role involves managing and maintaining broadcast equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with content creators and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain broadcast equipment, including cameras, microphones, switchers, video recorders, and editing software.
- Set up and manage live and pre-recorded broadcast sessions.
- Ensure optimal audio and video quality during all productions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to broadcast equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with content producers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to understand their technical requirements.
- Manage media asset management systems and ensure proper archiving of broadcast content.
- Stay updated with the latest broadcast technologies and trends.
- Assist in the planning and execution of new broadcast initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and organized broadcast environment.
