Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our initiatives in the Power Generation sector. This role will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for Tata Motors' offerings relevant to power generation and its associated ecosystem within India. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the power generation market, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and market trends within the Indian power generation sector.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, utility companies, independent power producers, and other industry players.
- Lead negotiations for new contracts, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, engineering, legal) to develop compelling proposals and solutions.
- Monitor market intelligence and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Prepare and present business cases, financial projections, and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
