Buyer / Senior Buyer (2-4 Yrs) | Bhubaneshwar

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer/Senior Buyer to join our procurement team in Bhubaneshwar. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies essential for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement processes within the pharmaceutical industry and a B.Pharma degree, coupled with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure raw materials, intermediates, packaging materials, and other indirect materials as per specified requirements and quality standards.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and ensure supply chain efficiency.

Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies related to procurement and supply chain management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to understand material needs and resolve any supply chain issues.

Contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives and cost reduction projects.
