Buyer / Senior Buyer

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and legally-minded Buyer/Senior Buyer to join our procurement team in Thane. This role is crucial for managing the acquisition of goods and services essential for our operations, with a specific focus on ensuring compliance and negotiating favorable terms. The ideal candidate will leverage their LLB degree and procurement experience to contribute to cost savings and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements, with a strong emphasis on legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and new sourcing strategies.

Review and interpret legal documents, terms and conditions, and contractual obligations related to procurement.

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

Manage supplier relationships, performance, and dispute resolution.

Prepare procurement reports, analyze spending patterns, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
