Buyer / Senior Buyer role in Healthcare & Life Sciences (3-5 Yrs)

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Buyer / Senior Buyer to join our Procurement team in Lucknow. This role is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of experience and a B.Sc degree, looking to contribute to a dynamic pharmaceutical company. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of goods and services essential for our operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards and quality requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings and favorable contract terms.
- Place purchase orders, track order status, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage inventory levels for assigned categories, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance) to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
