Captain / Master Mariner

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and responsible Captain/Master Mariner to oversee and manage our maritime operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of all vessel activities within our payment and logistics network. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of maritime regulations, crew management, and operational excellence to our innovative FinTech company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Command and manage all aspects of vessel operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
* Supervise and lead the ship's crew, fostering a culture of discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all national and international maritime laws, regulations, and conventions.
* Develop and implement operational plans for efficient cargo handling and timely delivery within our payment and logistics network.
* Conduct regular inspections of the vessel, equipment, and safety systems, initiating necessary maintenance and repairs.
* Manage vessel's budget and resources effectively.
* Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain detailed logs and records of all vessel activities, including navigation, operations, and crew performance.
* Respond effectively to emergencies and implement contingency plans.
* Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements in maritime operations.
