Captain / Master Mariner

Role Summary:
As a Captain/Master Mariner, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vessels, ensuring the highest standards of navigation, seamanship, and crew management. You will oversee all aspects of vessel operations, including voyage planning, cargo handling (if applicable), safety procedures, and compliance with maritime regulations. This role is crucial for our burgeoning cruise and ferry services within India's scenic waterways, contributing directly to our commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Command and control the vessel, ensuring safe navigation and adherence to all maritime laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement voyage plans, considering weather, currents, and operational requirements.
• Maintain the vessel's logbooks and other official records accurately.
• Supervise and manage the crew, ensuring their well-being, training, and efficient performance.
• Oversee all safety procedures, including emergency preparedness and response.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and pollution prevention measures.
• Manage vessel maintenance and repairs in coordination with the technical department.
• Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement of customer experience during voyages.
