Captain / Master Mariner

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Captain / Master Mariner to join our team in Bhubaneshwar. This role is crucial for overseeing maritime operations and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards within our emerging technology projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maritime law, navigation, and vessel management, coupled with a Master's degree (M.A.) and 3-6 years of relevant experience. You will be instrumental in managing complex maritime logistics and contributing to the strategic direction of our offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of vessel operations, including navigation, cargo handling, and crew management.
- Ensure strict adherence to international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.) and national maritime laws.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular inspections of vessels and equipment to ensure seaworthiness and operational efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate port calls, pilotage, and bunkering operations.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all vessel activities.
- Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the ship's crew, fostering a safe and productive working environment.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of maritime operations, aligning with the company's emerging technology initiatives.
- Manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
