Captain / Master Mariner (B.Com Required) - Thane

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Captain / Master Mariner with 1-3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree to join our dynamic team in Thane. This role is crucial for overseeing vessel operations, ensuring compliance with all maritime regulations, and managing the commercial aspects of shipping activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maritime law, logistics, and financial reporting, leveraging their B.Com background to contribute to the company's operational and financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the safe and efficient operation of vessels, ensuring adherence to all maritime laws and company policies.

Manage crew, cargo, and vessel maintenance to optimize performance and minimize operational costs.

Ensure all documentation, including logbooks, manifests, and financial records, is accurately maintained and up-to-date.

Liaise with port authorities, customs officials, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth port calls and cargo operations.

Utilize B.Com knowledge to assist in budget management, cost analysis, and financial reporting related to vessel operations.
