Captain / Master Mariner - Ports & Shipping Sector (3-4 Yrs)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Captain / Master Mariner to join our dynamic team in the Ports & Shipping industry. This role is crucial for overseeing maritime operations, ensuring safety, and managing vessel activities. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of maritime expertise and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical logistics, leveraging their B.Pharma background to potentially optimize the transport of sensitive cargo within the maritime domain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Command and manage vessels, ensuring safe and efficient navigation and operation.
- Oversee all aspects of vessel management, including crew, cargo, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement voyage plans, considering weather, traffic, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain vessel logs, records, and ensure compliance with all maritime regulations.
- Coordinate with port authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders.
- Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical handling and transport protocols where applicable, ensuring the integrity of specialized cargo.
- Conduct safety drills and ensure adherence to safety management systems.
- Mentor and train junior officers and crew members.
