Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Card Operations Executive / Lead with 1-3 years of experience and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing the operational aspects of our payment card programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of card processing, dispute resolution, and vendor management, leveraging your legal acumen to navigate complex operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the end-to-end management of card operations, including issuance, activation, and deactivation processes.
Monitor card transactions for fraud, anomalies, and compliance breaches, escalating issues as necessary.
Handle customer inquiries and disputes related to card transactions, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution in line with legal and policy guidelines.
Liaise with card network providers, issuing banks, and other third-party vendors to resolve operational issues and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Support the development and implementation of new card products and services, with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
Review and interpret regulatory circulars and guidelines impacting card operations, translating them into actionable internal procedures.
Assist in the preparation of reports on card operational performance, compliance status, and risk assessments for management review.
Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to internal and external auditors.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of card operational processes and systems.
