Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Environmental Officer with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will hold an M.Tech degree and be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and promoting sustainable practices within our power generation operations. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with all relevant national, state, and local environmental regulations.

Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues.

Develop and execute environmental monitoring programs, including air quality, water quality, noise levels, and waste management.

Prepare and submit environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and environmental clearance applications.

Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal in accordance with environmental laws.

Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.

Promote environmental awareness and training among employees.
