Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal and financial risk assessments for potential lending partners and investment opportunities, with a focus on credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Analyze loan portfolios and investment instruments to identify potential non-compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and frameworks to mitigate identified risks, ensuring adherence to Indian financial regulations and legal statutes.
- Review and interpret complex legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to lending and investment activities.
- Collaborate with internal legal, finance, and business teams to provide expert advice on risk-related matters and ensure legal compliance.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes impacting the lending and investment landscape in India, and advise on necessary adjustments to risk policies.
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk assessment tools and methodologies, leveraging your LLM expertise.
