We are seeking a motivated and diligent Medical Officer with a unique background in law to join our team in Chennai. This role is crucial for ensuring the health and well-being of our staff and beneficiaries, while also navigating the legal and regulatory aspects of our healthcare initiatives within the NGO sector. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of medical understanding and legal acumen, with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide initial medical consultations and first aid to staff and beneficiaries.
Assist in developing and implementing health and safety protocols.
Review and interpret healthcare-related legal documents, policies, and compliance requirements.
Advise the organization on legal matters pertaining to healthcare services, patient rights, and medical ethics.
Liaise with legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.
Maintain accurate medical and legal records.
Support in organizing health awareness programs and camps.
