Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building services, a meticulous approach to work, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires a background in commerce, demonstrating strong financial acumen and administrative capabilities relevant to project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of MEP technicians and contractors.
- Ensure the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power distribution, water supply, and drainage.
- Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and work orders.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts and materials, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and project proposals related to MEP services.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and budgetary expenditures.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP services with overall facility operations.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
