Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement / Purchase Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, intermediates, and packaging for our agrochemical manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, cost analysis, and vendor management within the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, and packaging supplies ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.

Manage existing supplier relationships, monitoring performance and addressing any issues to ensure continued supply chain reliability.

Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing, and new product developments relevant to agrochemicals.

Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall procurement efficiency.

Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., R&D, Production, Quality Control) to understand material requirements and specifications.

Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
