Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and analytical Production Engineer with 3-5 years of experience and a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our dynamic Oil & Gas division in Mumbai. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, improving operational efficiency, and developing innovative solutions through a design thinking approach. You will leverage your design sensibilities to enhance the manufacturability, usability, and overall effectiveness of our oil and gas production systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize existing production processes for oil and gas extraction and processing, identifying areas for improvement through a design-centric lens.
- Develop innovative design solutions for production equipment, tools, and systems, considering ergonomics, user experience, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and operations, to translate design concepts into practical production applications.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design iterations and ensure solutions meet the needs of field engineers and operators.
- Create detailed design documentation, including CAD models, schematics, and prototyping plans.
- Oversee the implementation of new designs and production methodologies, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and design trends in the oil and gas sector and apply them to enhance production capabilities.
- Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives through optimized design and process improvements.
