Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer in Test (SDET) with a BBA/BBM background to join our growing Quality Assurance team in Chennai. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates looking to build a career in software testing within the building materials industry. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our internal software systems and customer-facing applications, working closely with development and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases and test scripts to identify software defects and issues.
- Document defects clearly and concisely, reporting them to the development team.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
- Participate in regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
- Learn and apply various testing methodologies (manual and automated).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications and quality assurance needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
- Perform basic data analysis to support test findings.
