Career Opportunity: Welding Inspector / Supervisor (3-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Welding Inspector / Supervisor with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all welding operations, adherence to specifications, and supervision of welding teams. This role requires a strong understanding of welding codes, procedures, and safety regulations within the heavy engineering and construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and monitor all welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, API).
- Review and approve welding procedures specifications (WPS) and welder performance qualifications (WPQ).
- Conduct visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT) coordination, and interpret NDT reports.
- Supervise and guide a team of welders and fitters, ensuring efficient and safe execution of work.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation.
- Identify and report any deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to resolve welding-related issues.
- Perform material verification and ensure proper handling and storage of welding consumables.
