Cargo Agent / Cargo Officer

Role Summary: The Cargo Agent / Cargo Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods and materials within the company's logistics operations. This role ensures efficient handling, documentation, and tracking of all cargo, supporting the seamless flow of materials for design projects and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the receipt, dispatch, and storage of cargo.
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery and identify any potential delays.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation companies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues related to cargo movement and resolve them promptly.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., procurement, design, operations) regarding cargo status.
