Cargo Agent / Cargo Officer - FinTech / Payments (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Cargo Agent / Cargo Officer with a background in M.Pharma to join our dynamic FinTech operations team in Chennai. This role is crucial for ensuring the secure and efficient handling of physical assets and sensitive materials related to our payment processing and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of compliance and quality control from their M.Pharma studies to maintain the integrity of our cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the receipt, inspection, and dispatch of physical goods, including sensitive payment instruments and related materials.
* Implement and maintain strict inventory management protocols to ensure accuracy and prevent loss or damage.
* Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing cargo, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams to schedule shipments and manage delivery timelines.
* Maintain detailed records of all cargo movements, including documentation, tracking, and reconciliation.
* Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures for handling and storing sensitive materials.
* Assist in developing and refining operational procedures related to cargo handling and inventory management.
* Liaise with the M.Pharma background to ensure handling of any pharmaceutical-related materials (e.g., medical devices for payment terminals) adheres to specific regulations and quality standards.
* Generate reports on cargo status, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
* Support the investigation of discrepancies or damages to cargo.
