Cargo Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and organized Cargo Engineer to manage and optimize the logistics and transportation of educational materials and equipment across our various operational centers and distribution networks within India. This role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery and efficient handling of resources that support our learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of all cargo movements, including inbound and outbound shipments of educational materials, devices, and equipment.
• Coordinate with logistics partners, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery schedules.
• Manage inventory of materials at various locations, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize cargo routes, reduce transit times, and minimize shipping costs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during transit.
• Maintain detailed records of all shipments, including documentation, costs, and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to forecast material needs and plan logistics accordingly.
