Job Description
Role Summary: The Cargo Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the cargo operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role involves technical analysis, process improvement, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the cargo handling and transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement efficient cargo handling and loading systems.
- Analyze cargo capacity, weight distribution, and aircraft loading to ensure safety and compliance with aviation standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cargo equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with ground operations, flight planning, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless cargo operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of cargo operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, including IATA and local aviation authority guidelines.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new cargo handling equipment and technologies.
