We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cargo Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of cargo across our extensive network. The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of logistics and a willingness to learn and grow within the public administration sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of cargo transportation operations.
- Monitor cargo handling processes to ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo movement, inventory, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and station staff, to resolve any issues.
- Support in optimizing cargo loading and unloading procedures for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct basic inspections of cargo and equipment to identify potential risks or damages.
- Learn and apply standard operating procedures for cargo management.
