Cargo Officer

Role Summary: The Cargo Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of cargo operations within DLF's extensive real estate development and management portfolio. This includes coordinating the movement of materials, equipment, and goods to various project sites and facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing logistics for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the activities of cargo handling and transportation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Manage inventory of goods and materials at project sites and warehouses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards.
- Negotiate with logistics providers and transportation companies to secure favorable rates and services.
- Maintain accurate records of all cargo movements, shipments, and associated documentation.
- Monitor and report on cargo operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to cargo shipments and deliveries.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for cargo handling and storage.
