We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Category Executive with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will support the management and growth of specific product categories within the building materials sector, focusing on driving sales, optimizing product portfolios, and enhancing market presence. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, data analysis, and effective communication skills, leveraging a BCA background for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for category growth and improvement.
Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies, including product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure effective product launches and inventory management.
Monitor category performance against key metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
Support the Category Manager in vendor negotiations and relationship management.
Ensure product information accuracy and update relevant databases and systems.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences within the building materials segment.
