Category Executive

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Category Executive to join our Procurement team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement strategies for specific categories within our organization, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, supplier relationships, and strategic sourcing, with a focus on supporting our operations in the financial services and advisory sector, which often interfaces with regulatory and security considerations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential risks.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of contracts, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Monitor category performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
- Support the development and execution of sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs).
- Analyze spend data to identify consolidation opportunities and drive efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to procurement and the financial services sector.
