Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the company's procurement objectives and business needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate market trends, and assess risks.
- Lead the sourcing and negotiation process for assigned categories, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., manufacturing, engineering) to understand their requirements and ensure procurement solutions meet their needs.
