Category Head - Corporate (Lucknow)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Category Head to join our corporate team in Lucknow. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing procurement strategies for various corporate categories within the Metals & Mining sector. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement category strategies for indirect procurement, focusing on cost savings, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective procurement solutions.
- Monitor category performance against defined KPIs and report on key metrics.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and sustainability goals.
- Lead and mentor junior team members within the procurement function.
