Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Category Management & Operations Specialist. This role will be instrumental in optimizing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving operational efficiencies within various indirect spend categories. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of category management principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic sourcing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies for indirect spend, aligning with business objectives and market intelligence.
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential cost savings and value enhancement opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing events, including RFI/RFP development, supplier negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Oversee supplier performance management, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement expertise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in category management and procurement.
