Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and driven individual with a Doctorate/PhD to join our Category Management & Operations team in Delhi. This role will focus on optimizing product categories within the food processing sector, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency, drive sales, and improve customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and a strong academic background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify category trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape within the food processing industry.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies for category growth, including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and product placement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D) to ensure alignment and execution of category strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned categories and provide regular performance reports and actionable recommendations.
- Optimize operational processes related to category management, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques and statistical modeling to derive insights and support decision-making.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms to ensure optimal product availability and cost.
- Contribute to new product development initiatives by providing category insights and market feedback.
