Category Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain strategies for industrial automation components and solutions. The Category Manager will be responsible for developing and executing category plans, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings and value creation within their designated spend areas. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services essential for our robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements.
• Manage supplier performance through regular reviews, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor market dynamics, commodity prices, and technological advancements within assigned categories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Finance) to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal partners.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
