Catering Supervisor

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and organized Catering Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our employee cafeteria and associated catering services. This role is crucial in ensuring the provision of high-quality, hygienic, and timely meals to our workforce at our manufacturing facility. The Catering Supervisor will manage a team, maintain inventory, and ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the catering staff, including cooks, helpers, and service personnel.
• Plan and manage daily/weekly menus in consultation with the management, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and service to ensure quality, taste, and presentation standards are met.
• Manage inventory of food supplies, ingredients, and kitchen equipment; place orders as needed and monitor stock levels.
• Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP, FSSAI guidelines).
• Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen, dining area, and storage facilities to maintain cleanliness and order.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage the catering budget, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Train new staff members and provide ongoing training to existing staff on best practices.
• Maintain records related to inventory, staff attendance, and operational expenses.
