Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer specializing in refining processes for our advanced jewellery manufacturing operations in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and managing the chemical refining of precious metals, ensuring high purity standards, and adhering to environmental and safety regulations. This role is critical in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our precious metal refining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize chemical refining processes for gold, silver, and other precious metals.
- Ensure the purity and quality of refined precious metals meet stringent industry standards.
- Monitor and control chemical reactions, temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure process efficiency and safety.
- Manage the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and by-products.
- Conduct regular quality control tests and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to refining processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Collaborate with R&D teams on new refining technologies and process improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of refining operations, material usage, and quality control data.
