Chemical Research Scientist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemical Research Scientist to join our advanced materials and chemical processes division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research and development activities focused on novel chemical formulations, materials, and processes relevant to the aviation industry, with a particular emphasis on sustainable and high-performance solutions. This role involves in-depth analysis, experimentation, and collaboration to drive innovation in aircraft maintenance, repair, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental and applied research in areas such as corrosion inhibitors, advanced lubricants, composite materials, coatings, and environmentally friendly cleaning agents.
- Develop and optimize chemical processes for aircraft component repair, surface treatment, and material synthesis.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data using statistical methods, and interpret results to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Characterize materials using advanced analytical techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography, microscopy).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research findings into practical applications and product development.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements and industry trends in aviation chemistry and materials science.
- Prepare technical reports, research proposals, and scientific publications.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards in the laboratory.
