Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chemist to join our dynamic team. The Chemist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in our diverse infrastructure, transport, and real estate projects. This role involves rigorous testing, analysis, and adherence to quality control standards to support the successful execution of large-scale construction and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical analysis and testing of construction materials such as concrete, cement, aggregates, bitumen, and steel to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials and finished products, identifying any deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and implement testing procedures and methodologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Prepare detailed reports on test results, findings, and recommendations for project managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in the laboratory and on-site operations.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to troubleshoot material-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in material science and chemical testing techniques relevant to the construction industry.
