Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chemist to join our Facility Management Services team. The Chemist will be responsible for overseeing and managing all chemical-related operations within our client facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of quality and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement chemical management protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of chemical storage and usage areas.
- Monitor and analyze chemical inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper disposal.
- Perform quality control tests on water, waste, and other samples as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Troubleshoot chemical-related issues and provide technical guidance to on-site teams.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, testing results, and safety incidents.
- Train facility staff on safe handling and disposal of chemicals.
- Collaborate with procurement teams for sourcing of chemicals and related materials.
- Stay updated with advancements in chemical management and environmental practices.
