Chief Accountant

Role Summary: The Chief Accountant will oversee all accounting operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our manufacturing and production division.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and relevant regulations.

Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans.

Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (GST, Income Tax, etc.) and compliance with direct and indirect tax laws.

Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.

Manage cash flow and ensure optimal working capital management.
