Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Chief Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations, coupled with specific knowledge relevant to the petrochemical and plastics industry. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage financial operations efficiently. The position is based in Vijayawada.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS) and tax regulations in India.

Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial performance.

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Assist with audits, both internal and external.

Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making.

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, particularly related to inventory, raw materials, and finished goods in the petrochemical/plastics sector.
