Chief Accounting Officer (CAO)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. The CAO will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing critical financial insights to support business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of financial regulations, a strong leadership presence, and the ability to manage complex financial processes within a dynamic BPM environment. The ideal candidate will possess 6 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
- Manage internal controls and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Manage tax planning and compliance activities.
- Oversee treasury functions and cash management.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team.
