Chief Accounting Officer (CAO)

Role Summary: The Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of a comprehensive set of accounting records, and a robust system of internal controls. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage financial risks, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the company's financial planning and growth. The CAO will report directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and IFRS.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage the company's financial risk, including internal controls, audit processes, and compliance.
• Collaborate with the CFO on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all applicable tax laws in India.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems.
