Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chief Cook to lead our culinary operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and service for our employees at our Bengaluru campus. The Chief Cook will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, team management, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement diverse and nutritious menus considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Oversee all food preparation, cooking, and presentation activities.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (HACCP, FSSAI guidelines).
- Control inventory, manage food costs, and optimize procurement of ingredients.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Collaborate with HR and administration for catering events and special occasions.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen team.
