Chief Design Officer (CDO)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Design Officer (CDO) to lead and shape the design vision and strategy for Jio Platforms Limited's diverse digital products and services within India. The CDO will be responsible for fostering a culture of design excellence, ensuring a consistent and compelling user experience across all touchpoints, and driving innovation through design thinking. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a strong business acumen, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing design team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and articulate a clear design vision and strategy that aligns with Jio's business objectives and market positioning.
- Oversee the entire design process, from user research and conceptualization to prototyping, user testing, and final implementation across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
- Build, mentor, and manage a world-class design team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
- Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure brand consistency and high-quality user experiences.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization, advocating for the user in all product development decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into innovative and user-friendly design solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify design trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Measure and analyze the impact of design initiatives on key business metrics, such as user engagement, satisfaction, and conversion rates.
- Drive innovation in design through experimentation, exploration of new technologies, and adoption of cutting-edge design methodologies.
- Represent the design function at the executive level, presenting design strategies, roadmaps, and outcomes.
