Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Role Summary:
ONGC is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations in India. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, reporting, and investor relations, ensuring alignment with ONGC's strategic objectives and regulatory compliance within the Indian oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement financial strategies to support ONGC's growth and profitability in the Indian market.
* Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and IFRS.
* Manage financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
* Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with all relevant Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements.
* Lead treasury operations, including cash management, debt financing, and capital structure optimization.
* Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies in India.
* Oversee investor relations, including financial reporting to shareholders and the investment community.
* Assess and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
* Provide strategic financial advice to the Board of Directors and senior management.
* Drive digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.
* Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
