Role Summary:
Khaitan & Co is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead and shape our human capital strategy. The CHRO will be responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with the firm's business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure the well-being and professional growth of our legal professionals and support staff. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the legal industry's talent landscape in India.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the firm's growth and operational goals.
2. Oversee all aspects of talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
3. Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top legal talent.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and employee engagement.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian labor laws and regulations.
6. Lead change management initiatives and effectively communicate HR policies and procedures across the firm.
7. Partner with firm leadership to address organizational development needs and strategic workforce planning.
8. Manage the HR budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
