Job Description

Role Summary: The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with Chiratae Ventures' business objectives. This role will oversee all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development, with a specific focus on the unique needs of a fast-paced venture capital environment. The CHRO will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and ensuring the firm has the right talent to drive growth and success for both the firm and its portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and policies aligned with Chiratae Ventures' growth trajectory and investment focus.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts for both the firm and its portfolio companies, attracting top-tier talent in investment banking, finance, and technology.
  • Design and manage robust performance management systems to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
  • Develop and implement leadership development and succession planning programs.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and ethical practices.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to the leadership team and support portfolio companies on HR matters.
  • Oversee HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, and compliance.
