Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Role Summary:
As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Wipro, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining enterprise-wide, comprehensive information security and IT risk management programs. You will lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures to protect Wipro's information assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in cybersecurity, risk assessment, and incident response, capable of navigating the complex threat landscape of the hardware and networking industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a holistic information security strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation and management of security controls across all IT systems, networks, and applications.
- Lead and manage the information security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Develop and maintain robust incident response plans and lead the execution of incident management processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and service providers.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and trends, and adapt security strategies accordingly.
- Advise senior leadership on information security risks and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee security awareness training programs for all employees.
